This is my first ever time participating in a TTT (Top Ten Tuesday), so I'm really excited! It's a weekly meme created by That Artsy Reader Girl . This week is Top 10 Places in Books I'd Love to Live! 1. Velaris (A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas) It's just so magical . It's full of quaint little shops and windy streets and you have a high chance of bumping into the inner circle (Azriel come here!) 2. Hogwarts (Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling) I've been waiting for my Hogwarts letter to arrive since I was 11... It's nearly been 10 years and I'm still hopeful. I'd get to play quidditch, study charms, potions, transfiguration and so much more! I'd love to hang out in the library, great hall, Gryffindor common room... I think I'll be forever dreaming. 3. Ketterdam (Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo) It would be such an experience, but to be honest, I'd probably die before I got to fully explore anything. 4. The Capitol (The Hunger Games

Rating:  ★★★ Release Date: 5th April 2021 Genre(s) : Sci-Fi Massive thank you to Interstellar Flight Press and NetGalley for providing me with a free ARC in exchange for an honest review. Local star is a polyamorous space opera which follows Triz, a guttergirl (spaceship handywoman), her friend Casne and her ex Kalo. When Casne is accused of war crimes, Triz with the help of her ex, Kalo, must do everything she can in an attempt to save her, whilst also saving their Hab which comes under attack from the notorious Cyberbionautic Alliance (ceebees). I picked this book up because it had  polyamorous rep  -which honestly is not something you see in books often. I loved how it normalised triads and quadfamilies (a family unit based around a four-person platonic, romantic and/or sexual relationship) as the norm, and it was super refreshing to see how poly relationships can also work in a platonic sense! Further, I adored how non-binary and neopronouns were normalised. For example there's

Supernatural lesbian enemies to lovers . Honesty that was the only reason I needed to pick up this book up and I’m really glad I did! It follows Silvia, a vampire hunter, and Keir, the heir to the vampire throne.  I want to start off by saying I absolutely adore the character of Keir, they ooze confidence, sass and sex appeal. Now getting into the actual book... I was hooked from the very first page of this book and could not put it down, it's fairly long and I read it in 24 hours. I will admit the start of the book is kind of rocky - there are a fair few grammatical errors (which is to be expected with an arc, however, it does still impact on the reading experience), but once you're past the first 100 pages - god does it pick up! I'd say the plot is predominantly roman
